Supervised Contact Workers (formerly known as Sydney SCW) is a community based service for separated or divorced parents and for children in care.  We facilitate visitations, changeovers and transportation.

Supervised services are for separated or divorced parents and for children in care needing help with the supervision of visits, changeovers, or transportation. When both parties are in agreement, we support the positive rebuilding of relationships by providing qualified supervision staff that focus on the child at all times

How We Help

Our aim is to turn these difficult and sometimes uncomfortable situations into enjoyable experiences. We are here to provide children with a happy and safe environment when a parent is required to have supervision with their children. 

What To Expect

We provide friendly, caring, no judgemental professional supervised services. Supervised Contact Workers do not take sides. Your child's best interest is our top priority. We aim to provide a service where children can maintain a meaningful relationship with their parents.

Do you need a safe space for visitation or changeover purposes? Supervised Contact Workers are here to help children from separated families feel protected while rebuilding or maintaining a relationship with the parent they do not live with.

Supervised Visits For Families

Where necessary, or as directed by a court order, our qualified staff ensure children feel safe and happy in a controlled environment while they are supervised spending time with a parent, caregiver or other family members. Closely monitored these visits should be fun, conflict-free and a positive time for the child, parent or other attendees. Organised before visits and depending we can facilitate contact visits at parks, play centres, other community locations from 8am to 8pm. The supervision takes place for the entire visit and can include changeovers. We can also provide safe transportation to and from the supervised visit offering Australian approved car seats if required.

Supervised Changeovers For Families

In separated families there are times when a child needs to be 'handed over' and 'handed back' to the parent or other family member who does not have the day-to-day care of them. At Supervised Contact Workers we offer a face-to-face or a no face-to-face changeover service. We will supervise the changeover at an agreed location. Changeovers are offered as a stand alone service and can include transport or can be combined with supervision according to your requirements.

Government & NGO Caseworkers

Supervised Contact Workers provides a safe, neutral and strictly child-focused environment for supervised contact and supervised transport for children in care. We transport and/or supervise children in a variety of activities that can include attending appointments, contact visits, court, placement changes and more. We make sure we are staying safe on the road and provide Australian approved car seats if required.

Get In Touch

Contact us for a chat. ​We will discuss our services with you and check your eligibility.

Start Your Service

We will start the supervised visit and/or changeover at the agreed time and days.

Request Our Service

The Service Agreement & Service Request Form are sent to both parties. This can also be retrieved from the Form section. Once filled, you return this to us with your court orders/agreements attached. We will then be in touch to book your intake interview.

Intake Process

We conduct an intake interview with both parties separately over the phone. We will also run through your child/ren's needs and gather as much information to better understand your current situation. We will highlight our approach to supervision and answer any questions you may have regarding our services.

Confirmation Email

We will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your service, summary sheet, any entry and exit maps and designated worker profile. This will highlight their working with children's check number, qualification, experience and a bit about themselves.
