Hi, my name is Jennifer Tapia and I’m the Co-Owner of Supervised Contact Workers (SCW). I’m also one of the servicing managers and I continue to supervise some visits. I enjoy what I do because I’m passionate about creating a positive environment for children to have an enjoyable experience when they adjust to a new environment.

​What Qualifications do I have?

I have completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology). I’ve been working with children for several years by providing them with disability support work, mentoring, and supervision. I also have an updated police check, First Aid Certificate and my working with children check is, WWC1598415E.

​What makes you a good Supervised Contact Worker?

I enjoy working with children and I believe it’s important to have their voices heard. I understand my role as a supervisor and the importance to remain impartial in these circumstances. In saying this, I’m here to create a safe and non-judgemental environment for the children to be both safe and happy during supervised visits. In addition, my current studies and experiences have given me the wisdom on how to supervise different situations, behaviours, and individuals.
